But let’s start at the beginning. Hannes and Tobias have known each other since they were students, but after their time together they first embarked on different career paths. Both with a strong drive to find meaning in their professional lives.

Hannes sets off

“Mobility is part of my family”

Hannes took a closer look at the automotive industry. As a trained car mechanic and with his parents’ motorsport racing team, this step was an obvious one. As a responsible person in product management as well as in international sales at an automotive OEM, he was able to set many new courses, accompany development phases and gain experience.

NEW OUTLOOKS

After several years on the OEM side, he decided to move into project management for a large automotive supplier. The management of several projects as well as the support of various derivatives during the development phase led to a very good interdisciplinary understanding and a wealth of experience. Always on the lookout for new challenges, he quickly came to the point of looking for new professional opportunities.

Tobias looks around

At the same time, Tobias takes a completely different path. Well trained in project management through his studies and first jobs, he nevertheless lacks the freedom to implement his own ideas. So he abandons the doctoral work he started after graduation to start his first company. He chooses a social project with the aim of bringing together the market economy and social welfare.

TARGET FOUND

A little ahead of the times and with too little money in marketing, the project fails. But Tobias has found his drive as an entrepreneur: Finding solutions and implementing them. But more problems follow on his way until he meets Hannes again.

A new company is born

After their individual experiences, Hannes and Tobias meet again and it quickly becomes clear that the solution for both of them can only be a joint venture. A company that is there for its customers as well as for its employees. A company that combines the competencies of both founders and incorporates the already broadly established network of both. Solutions for your customers that come from a broad understanding of the problems and experience from different industries. Followed by the operational implementation of the solutions, in the environment of modern and rapidly changing times.

Together as a team

The idea comes to concrete implementation with Anna-Lena. When she joins them and their idea, it turns into an active business. The three start to acquire first customers, to inspire partners from the network for their ideas and to develop various offer packages for their customers.

CONNECTED AT THE CORE

Together, they quickly realize that they have a lot in common in their thinking and the way they work together. For all three, the focus is on people and any solution found must be in line with this idea. The economy serves people, not the other way around. In addition to the main topics of project and process management, the topic of “New Work” is becoming increasingly important.

Ubuntu, the all-connecting thought

Their shared worldview is reflected in the South African philosophy of Ubuntu and the three build their own corporate direction around the theme. Hierarchies are largely dispensed with; instead, there are action teams and mutual support. Points of criticism are clearly assigned to individual actions, but the single individual always receives full acceptance and recognition as such.

Growth and future

For all three, it is clear that the future consists of positive cooperation with partner companies and customers. There can only be growth if all parties benefit from it. Both in our own company and in the companies of our partners and customers.

THE FUTURE OF MANAGEMENT CONSULTING

BERIAS breaks with the idea of competition and everyone in the team supports this approach. This idea again brings BERIAS right to the front. In a world of lone wolves, those who recognize and harness the power of community win.
